On the occasion of Christmas and the New Year, a fundraising concert “a Story of Peace” was organized to help support the newly inaugurated Orphanage “Little Angel House”.
His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II attended the Christmas Carols Concert held at St. Georges Patriarchal Cathedral in Bab Touma, Damascus.
The Concert included selected hymns on the theme of Christmas and peace.
The choir of the ‘Little Angel House’ also participated and chanted hymns in Syriac and other languages.
Their Eminences Mor Philoxenus Mattias Nayis, Patriarchal Vicar in Germany, Mor Polycarpus Augin Aydin, Patriarchal Vicar in the Netherlands, and Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Patriarchal Secretary, attended also this concert as well as clergy and seminarians from the Syriac Orthodox Church and other churches in Damascus.
