His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II received a delegation of the Syrian National Socialist Party at the Patriarchate Headquarters in Bab Touma, Damascus.
The delegation included: Mr. Bashar Yaziji, Vice President of the Political Office, Mr. Michel Mofti, Member of the Political Office and the Party’s High Council, Mr. Abdallah Al-Rashed, General Executive of Damascus and member of the Political Office.
His Holiness discussed with the members of the delegation the recent developments in the situation in Syria.
Mr. Bashar Yaziji spoke about the role of the Syrian National Socialist Party in helping the internally displaced return to their villages and lands.
The meeting was also attended by Very Rev. Raban Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director.
