His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II attended a reception organized by the Archdiocese, Patriarchal Vicariate for the Eastern USA at the Reception Hall of Mor Aphrem Center in New Jersey.
The reception was held to honor Mr. Semir Sirazi and Mr. Steve Samuel who have played a major role in the life of the Archdiocese for many years, especially in the acquiring, renovation and inauguration of Mor Aphrem Center.
In his speech, His Holiness spoke about the dedication and commitment of Mr. Samuel and Mr. Sirazi, remembering how they support projects that are good for the church and how they generously spend their time and efforts for the benefit of the community and the Archdiocese at large.
The reception was attended by His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak, Patriarchal Vicar for the Eastern USA, His Eminence Mor Dioscoros Benjamin Atas, Patriarchal Vicar in Sweden, the Syriac Orthodox clergy of New Jersey, President and members of the Archdiocesan Executive Council, and guests.
