His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II received Former Minister of Finances Dr. Kahtan Al-Sioufi, at the Patriarchate in BabTouma.
The meeting was attended by His Eminence Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Patriarchal Vicar in the Patriarchal Archdiocese of Damascus, and Very Rev. Raban Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director.
His Holiness and Dr. Al-Sioufi discussed important issues and developments in the situation of Syria as well as the role of the Syriac Orthodox Church in the execution and implementation of projects that help the Syrian people get through the crisis.
