His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II celebrated the Holy Qurobo on the occasion of the presentation of the Lord to the Temple at St. Mark Cathedral in Teaneck, NJ.
His Holiness was assisted by Very Rev. Fr. Joseph Chamoun, Priest of the Cathedral.
In his sermon, His Holiness spoke about the preparation of the people to receive the Lord and how Simeon the elder was waiting to see the salvation promised by God to Israel. He also spoke about faith and doubt and encouraged the faithful to have their faith always in God’s providence and will for us.
