His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II attended the spiritual retreat in preparation for the Lord’s Resurrection.
The retreat was organized by the Greek Catholic Patriarchate at the Patriarchal Cathedral upon the invitation of His Beatitude Greek Catholic Melkite Patriarch Gregorius III Lahham in the presence of their Excellencies the Archbishops of Damascus.
His Holiness was accompanied by His Eminence Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Patriarchal Vicar in the Patriarchal Archdiocese of Damascus, Very Rev. Raban Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director, and Very Rev. Raban Barsom Kando.
