His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II attended the DIvine Liturgy celebrated by His Beatitude Greek Catholic Melkite Patriarch Joseph Absi, at the LAdy of Dormition Church in Bab Sharqi in Damascus.
The ceremonial Divine Liturgy was also attended by representatives of Christian churches in Damascus, in addition to the Greek Catholic clergy of Damascus.
His Holiness was accompanied by His Eminence Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Patriarchal Vicar in the Patriarchal Viciarate in Damascus, Very Rev. Raban Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director, and Very Rev. Raban Cyril Babi, Director of the Department of Legal Affairs and Spiritual Courts.
