During SYGG 2017, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II gave a spiritual talk on Spiritual Vocation. His Holiness talked about how one can distinguish his call; how to respond to the call of God, and how to stay firm in his vocation. He differentiated between the general vocation that everyone is called to and the call to priesthood, monkhood or sisterhood.
His Holiness then talked about his vocation and how he joined monkhood. He encouraged the youth to discover their various vocations, especially those who might have a special call, so that they respond to it in the proper manner and glorify the name of our Lord.
