His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II visited His Beatitude Greek Orthodox Patriarch John X at his residence in Balamand.
His Holiness wished His Beatitude a good health and recovery. He also presented his condolences in the name of the Syriac Orthodox Church to His Beatitude and the sister Greek Orthodox Church for the passing away of Metropolitan Elia Saliba of blessed memory.
The two patriarchs discussed matter of importance to the churches.
His Holiness was accompanied by their Eminences Mor Dioscoros Kuriakose, Metropolitan of the Simhasana Churches and Abbot of the Malecuriz Dayro, Mor Timotheos Mattew, Patriarchal Secretary for Indian Affairs and Very Rev. Raban Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director.
