His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II inaugurated the new Monastery of the Holy Cross in Saydnaya.
His Holiness blessed the prayer room of the temporary headquarters of the Holy Cross Monastery and dedicated it to Mor Gabriel.
The blessing service was conducted in the presence of their Eminences Mor Dionysius Jean Kawak, Patriarchal Vicar in the Archdiocese for the Eastern USA, Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Patriarchal Vicar in the Patriarchal Archdiocese of Damascus, Mor Timotheos Matthew, Patriarchal Secretary for Indian Affairs, and His Grace Bishop Mor George Kourieh, Dean of Mor Aphrem Theological Seminary as well as the clergy, faithful and the monks of the monastery.
