His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II gave a lecture on the History of the Syriac Orthodox Church as well as the modern challenges the Syriac heritage is facing. His Eminence Mor Nicodemus Daoud Sharaf, Archbishop of Mosul, Kirkuk and Kurdistan, and Very Rev. Raban Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director were present.
His Holiness spoke about the history of the Church as well as the major historical events that marked our church.
