Consecration of St. Paul the Apostle Church in San Diego

His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II consecrated the church of St. Paul the Apostle in San Diego ā€“ US.

His Eminence Archbishop Mor Clemis Eugene Kaplan, Patriarchal Vicar for the Western USA and His Eminence Mor Justinos Boulos Safar, Patriarchal Vicar in Zahleh and Beqaa, assisted His Holiness in the consecration, in the presence of the clergy and parishioners.

His Holiness then celebrated the Holy Qurobo in the newly consecrated church.

In his sermon, His Holiness expressed his happiness to gather again with his spiritual children in the Western USA Vicariate, especially for the consecration of the new church which is the House of God. His Holiness explained that the consecration of this house of worship is what makes it a holy place where the faithful can gather in the name of the Lord, praise Him and offer the Holy Qurobo, which is the Sacrament of Sacraments.
