Reception of His Holiness at Mor Ephraim Cathedral in Sydney

On the first day of his first Apostolic Visit to Australia, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II visited Mor Ephraim Cathedral in Sydney, where he was received by His Eminence Mor Malatius Malki Malki, Patriarchal Vicar in Australia & New Zealand, along with the clergy and faithful of the parish.
His Holiness prayed at Mor Ephraim Cathedral and blessed the faithful gathered in the cathedral.
His Eminence Mor Malatius Malki Malki welcomed His Holiness and conveyed to him the warm love of the Patriarchal Vicariate of Australia & New Zealand.
In his spiritual word, His Holiness expressed his great joy to be among his spiritual children, who live in a geographically far country from the patriarchate headquarter, yet are always in the heart and thoughts of their spiritual father; They are the little flock, and it is their Holy Father’s good pleasure to give them the kingdom.
His Holiness was accompanied by Mor Nicodemus Daoud Sharaf, Metropolitan of Mosul, Kurdistan and their Environs, and Very Rev. Raban Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director.
