Peace Prayer at the Baroque Cathedral in Salzburg

IMG_5011On the occasion of His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II’s visit to Salzburg, a prayer for peace in the Middle East was organized at the Baroque Cathedral in Salzburg.

His Holiness prayed for peace in the Middle East and especially in Syria which is suffering from terrorist attacks. He emphasized the need to have peace in order to face the current challenges and dangers that are threatening the country and the whole region.

Their Eminences: Mor Dionysius Issa Gurbuz, Patriarchal Vicar in Switzerland and Austria, Mor Philoxenus Saliba Ozmen, Archbishop of Mardin and Diyarbakir and Environs, Mor Philoxenus Mattias Nayis, Patriarchal Vicar in Germany, Mor Julius Hanna Aydin, Director of External Relations in Germany, Mor Polycarpus Augin Aydin, Patriarchal Vicar in the Netherlands, His Grace Mor Georges Kourieh, Dean of Mor Aphrem Theological Seminary in Maarat Saydnaya, and Very Rev. Raban Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director also participated in the Peace Prayer.
