Under the auspices of His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, the Patriarchal Syriac Scouts of Damascus organized a kermesse at their headquarters in Haret Al-Zaytoun. The Kermesse included many entertaining games and was open to the public for four days.
On Thursday October 8, 2015, His Holiness inaugurated the Kermesse and blessed the Scouts who worked hard to prepare for this special event. For the occasion, the scouts’ band played Syriac traditional songs.
He was accompanied by His Eminence Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Patriarchal Secretary, and His Grace Mor Maurice Amsih, Director of Public Relations.
