His Holiness Patriarch Moran Mor Ignatius Aphrem II received His Excellency Mr. Alksander Ponomarev, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus in Syria, at the Patriarchate in Bab Touma, Damascus.
His Excellency conveyed the greetings of the Church hierarchs in Belarus to His Holiness and discussed with him the current situation in the Middle East and Syria.
His Eminence Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Patriarchal Secretary, and His Grace Mor Maurice Amsih, Director of Public Relations were also present.
