On the last day of his apostolic visit to the Archdiocese of Beirut, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II celebrated the Holy Qurobo at Mor Aphrem Church in Achrafieh.
His Eminence Mor Clemis Daniel Kourieh, Metropolitan of Beirut, and His Grace Mor Maurice Amsih, Director of Public Relations and Protocol, assisted His Holiness in the Holy Qurobo. Their Eminences Mor Severius Hawa, Archbishop of Baghdad and Basra, Mor Philoxenus Matta Chamoun, Mor Theophilos Georges Saliba, Archbishop of Mount Lebanon and Tripoli, Mor Philoxenus Yusuf Cetin, Patriarchal Vicar in Istanbul and Ankara, and Mor Chrysostomos Mikhael Shemoun, Patriarchal Vicar in the Patriarchal Benevolent Institutions in Atchaneh attended the celebration of the Divine Liturgy.
The Holy Qurobo was also attended by many politicians or their representatives.
His Eminence Mor Clemis Daniel Kourieh welcomed His Holiness at the Archdiocese, remembering the marking event of the first Holy Qurobo after his enthronement celebrated by His Holiness in the same church.
His Holiness thanked the faithful for their warm welcome and spoke about the renewal of the Church by confirming our faith and holding firm to our traditions.
