More than 200 Children participated in the Holy Qurobo celebrated by His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II at St. Georges Patriarchal Cathedral in Bab Touma – Damascus.
These children are members of “Beth Tarbitho” the Syriac Orthodox Religious Education Centers of the Patriarchal Diocese in Damascus.
In his sermon, His Holiness spoke about the virtues of the Virgin Mary, Mother of God, and the role of prayer in her life. He explained to the children the importance of prayer in the life of every believer.
The children interacted with His Holiness’ teaching and shared their thoughts on prayer and asking the Lord to fulfill their needs and prayers.
During the Holy Qurobo, His Holiness was assisted by His Eminence Mor Dionysius Jean Kawak, Patriarchal Assistant.
