His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II received His Excellency Mr. Anwar Abdul Hadi, Ambassador of Palestine in Damascus and Head of the Political Department in Palestine Liberation Organization.
The meeting was also attended by His Eminence Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Patriarchal Secretary, and Very Rev. Raban Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director.
His Excellency spoke about Palestine as the craddle of heavenly religions and discussed the political developments in Syria and the region.
His Holiness also spoke about the historical and religious role of Palestine and congratulated all Palestinians on the occasion of the season’s holidays.
