His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II celebrated the Holy Qurobo at St. Mary Church in Qamishly.
He was assisted by His Grace Mor Georges Kourieh, Dean of Mor Aphrem Theological Seminary in Maarat Saydnaya.
In his sermon, His Holiness presented his condolences to the families of the martyrs who fell victims of the explosions and attacks in Qamishly.
He also spoke about the meaning of martyrdom and how valuable and sublime is the blood of martyrs.
His Holiness then held a memorial service for the martyrs of Qamishly.
