His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II received Rev. Fr. Michel Jalkh, General Secretary of the Middle East Council of Churches (MECC) accompanied by Mr. Samer Lahham, Regional Director of ERS, at the Patriarchal Residence in Atchaneh, Bikfaya, Lebanon.
The meeting was also attended by their Eminences Mor Theophilus George Saliba, Archbishop of Mount Lebanon and Tripoli, Mor Chrysostomos Mikhael Chamoun, Patriarchal Vicar at the Benevolent Institutions in Atchaneh, and Very Rev. Raban Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director.
His Holiness and his guests discussed the recent developments in the work of MECC. Rev. Fr. Jalkh also gave an overview of the most recent meetings of the Executive Committee.
