His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II received the Head of the Delegation of the International Committee of Red Cross in Syria, Mrs. Marianne Gasser, accompanied by Mr. Daniel Cavoli, at the Patriarchate in Bab Touma, Damascus.
His Holiness welcomed the visiting delegation and gave an overview of the relief work and projects that St. Ephrem Patriarchal Development Committee is executing.
Mrs. Gasser also spoke about the work of the International Committee of Red Cross in Syria, especially in Homs and Aleppo.
The meeting was attended by: His Eminence Mor Dionysius Jean Kawak, Patriarchal Assistant, His Grace Mor Maurice Amsih, Director of Public Relations and Protocol, Very Rev. Raban Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director, and Mr. Shady Sarweh, Executive Director of EPDC.
