His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II visited Bani Taghleb 1 Primary School in Aleppo.
He met with the administrative body and the teachers. He told them that education is more than a job or a profession; it is a mission to educate, not just teach, the young generations who will make society a better place and who have the responsibility to transmit their culture and develop the civilization they live in.
He reminded the teachers that Bani Taghleb 1 has also been a school which carries the mission of raising the generation of tomorrow.
His Holiness was accompanied by His Grace Mor George Kourieh, Dean of Mor Aphrem Theological Seminary in Maarat Saydnaya, Very Rev. Raban Boutros Kassis, Patriarchal Delegate of the Archdiocese of Aleppo and Environs, clergy and members of the Council of Mor Aphrem Cathedral.
