3 Years on the Abduction of the Two Archbishops of Aleppo

On the occasion of the 3rd annual commemoration of the abduction of the two Archbishops of Aleppo, the two Patriarchs of Antioch, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, Syriac Orthodox Patriarch, and John X, Greek Orthodox Patriarch, presided over a common prayer organized for the occasion.
The prayer was held at St. Mary, Lady of Balamand, Church in Balamand, Lebanon.
Following the prayer, a joint communique was issued.
The common prayer was attended by their Beatitudes Greek Catholic Melkite Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, Alexandria and Jerusalem, and Syriac Catholic Patriarch of Antioch Mor Ignatius Youssef III Younan as well as representatives of Churches in Lebanon.
His Holiness was accompanied by their Eminences: Mor Theophilus George Saliba, Archbishop of Mount Lebanon and Tripoli, Mor Selwanos Boutros Al-Nehmeh, Archbishop of Homs. Hama and Environs, Mor Chrysostomos Mikhael Chamoun, Patriarchal Vicar in the Patriarchal Institutions in Atchaneh, Very Rev. Raban Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director, and Very Rev. Raban Cyril Babi.
A delegation of seminarians from Mor Aphrem Theological Seminary led by Very Rev. Raban Roger-Youssef Akhrass participated in the common prayer.
