His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II receives Mr. Wolfgang Friedel, Head of Division of Migration and Foreign Aid at Caritas – Augsburg, at the Patriarchal Residence in Atchaneh – Bikfaya.
The meeting was also attended by His Eminence Mor Selwanos Boutros Al-Nehmeh, Archbishop of Homs, Hama and Environs, and Very Rev. Raban Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director.
Mr. Friedel gave an overview of the work of Caritas in Syria and wished for more cooperation with the Syriac Orthodox Church to reach the needy throughout Syria.
