His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II presided over the evening prayer at Mor Yuhanon Shliho Church in Rheda Wiedenbruck.
Their Eminences Mor Philoxenus Mattias Nayis, Patriarchal Vicar in Germany, Mor Julius Hanna Aydin, Director of Foreign Affairs in Germany, and Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Patriarchal Vicar at the Patriarchal Archdiocese of Damascus also participated in the evening prayer as well as the clergy of the region.
The children of the summer school welcomed His Holiness and the accompanying delegation. They sang to them some Syriac chants and hymns they learned.
His Holiness blessed the children and their parents and thanked their teachers for their role in bringing them up with the true love of the church and their identity.
