His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II attended the Holy Qurobo celebrated by His Beatitude Mor Ignatius Youssef III Younan, Syriac Catholic Patriarch of Antioch on the occasion of the first year commemoration of the Blessed Syriac Catholic Martyr Mor Flavianus Mikhael Melki, at the Lady of Deliverance Church in Sharfet.
The Holy Qurobo was attended by the Syriac Catholic Bishops and priests. His Holiness was accompanied by His Eminence Mor Theophilus George Saliba, Archbishop of Mount Lebanon and Tripoli, and Very Rev. Raban Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director.
After the Holy Qurobo, His Holiness and His Beatitude headed a procession to the monument of the Martyrs of Sayfo where they prayed a special service of the martyrs.
