Holy Qurobo at St. Thomas Cathedral – London

His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II celebrated the Holy Qurobo at St. Thomas Cathedral in London.
His Eminence Mor Athanasius Touma Dakkama, Patriarchal Vicar in the United Kingdom assisted His Holiness in the Holy Qurobo in the presence of their Eminences: Mor Severius Hawa, Archbishop of Baghdad and Basra, Mor Theophilus George Saliba, Archbishop of Mount Lebanon and Tripoli, Mor Philoxenus Zakharia, Patriarchal Vicar in the United Kingdom, Coptic Orthodox General Bishop Anba Angelos, and Armenian Orthodox Archbishop Hovakim.
His Eminence Mor Athanasius Touma Dakkama welcomed His Holiness and spoke about his role in supporting Christians despite the persecutions they are undergoing.
During his sermon, His Holiness spoke about the visit of the Virgin Mary to her relative Elizabeth. He also spoke about the major work that was done as well as the future of the ministry in our churches in the United Kingdom.
His Holiness also bestowed the Holy Cross to Rev. Fr. Ishak Touza for his devotion in the service and ministry in the Syriac Orthodox Church in London.
