His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, His Beatitude Greek Melkite Patriarch Gregorius III Lahham and His Excellency Grand Mufti of Syria Sheikh Ahmad Badr El Din Hassoun, met the Church of Ireland Archbishop of Dublin His Grace Micheal Jackson at the Trinity College in Dublin.
His Holiness, His Beatitude and His Excellency discussed with His Grace the current situation in Syria and asked the help of the Church in Ireland to advocate for peace in Syria and assist the Syrian people in their need for peace as well as humanitarian assistance.
They conveyed the real picture of what is currently happening in Syria, and they stressed the fact that the Western Media is biased and one-sided in most of what it conveys to the public.
