His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II visited the Syrian Orphanage in Sao Paolo.
He was accompanied by their Eminences Mor Titus Boulos Touza, Syriac Orthodox Apostolic Nuncio in Brazil, and Mor Selwanos Boutros Al-Nehmeh, Archbishop of Homs, Hama and Environs.
His Holiness inspected the premises of the orphanage and the adjacent school, as well as the chapel.
The director of the orphanage gave a short overview of the history of the orphanage and the main stages that it went through.
