His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II visited the Mufti of Aleppo Sheikh Mahmoud Akkam.
He was accompanied by their Eminences Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Patriarchal Vicar in the Patriarchal Archdiocese of Damascus, Mor Timotheos Matthew, Patriarchal Secretary for Indian Affairs, and Very Rev. Raban Boutros Kassis, Patriarchal Delegate of the Archdiocese of Aleppo and Environs.
His Holiness expressed his content for the liberation of Aleppo and hoped that life will slowly return to normal. He prayed that the citizens of Aleppo, Christians and Muslims, will be able to return to their businesses and enjoy their lives as they did before the crisis.
