His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II visited the Children’s Easter Event organized by the youth of the Christian churches in Damascus, at the Ibrahim Al-Khalil Monastery in Kashkoul in Damascus.
The event hosted around 300 children aged between 5 and 10 years old, of the poor and orphans from Damascus. It included many activities and entertaining games.
At the end of the event, the children received the illustrated Holy Bible.
His Holiness was accompanied by His Eminence Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Patriarchal Vicar in the Patriarchal Archdiocese of Damascus and Very Rev. Raban Cyril Babi.
