His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II visited the construction site of the Syriac Cultural Institute at the Old City of Damascus.
He was accompanied by His Eminence Mor Titmotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Patriarchal Vicar in the Patriarchal Archdiocese of Damascus, Very Rev. Raban Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director, and Very Rev. Raban Cyril Babi, as well as engineers and consultants in charge of the construction.
He inspected the work and the premises and gave his directions to proceed in the next stages of the construction and restoration.
His Holiness also visited the adjacent site of the kindergarten that is under construction.
