His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II visited Mor Aphrem Cathedral in Burbank, California.
His Holiness was accompanied by His Eminence Archbishop Mor Dionysius John Kawak, Patriarchal Vicar for the Eastern USA, and Very Rev. Raban Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director.
His Eminence Archbishop Mor Clemis Eugene Kaplan, Patriarchal Vicar for the Western USA, welcomed His Holiness and the accompanying delegation and thanked His Holiness for blessing the 53rd Annual Convention and those who participated in it.
In his spiritual word, His Holiness encouraged the faithful to hold firm to their faith and to love the Church and serve in it according to the talents that the Lord gave each.
Following the recommendation of His Eminence Mor Clemis Eugene Kaplan, His Holiness also bestowed the Holy Cross to Rev. Fr. Gabriel Hanna in recognition of his hardwork and devotion in his ministry to Mor Aphrem Cathedral.
