His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II visited St. James of Serough Church in Greater Los Angeles.
The Parish priest Very Rev. Fr. Joseph Tarzi welcomed His Holiness and expressed the great joy of the congregation to receive His Holiness. He spoke of the admiration that the community has when observing the different projects that the Church is doing to help the faithful survive the crisis during these difficult times in our homeland in the Middle East.
In his sermon, His Holiness spoke about the love of the father who sacrifices his time and energy for the sake of his children. He spoke about God’s love and His abundant mercy that is expressed in the sacrifice of the Cross. At the end of his sermon, he blessed the faithful.
His Holiness was accompanied by Very Rev. Raban Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director.
