His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II inaugurated an office for St. Ephrem Patriarchal Development Committee (EPDC) in Hassakah.
His Excellency Mr. Jayez Al-Moussa, Governor of Hassakeh was present.
The center will provide relief and help to the families in that region to overcome the hard situation of the Syrian war. It will also provide the needed development programs for the citizens.
Their Eminences Mor Maurice Amsih, Archbishop of Jazeerah and Euphrates, Mor Justinus Boulos Safar, Patriarchal Vicar in Zahleh and Beqaa, Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Patriarchal Vicar in the Patriarchal Archdiocese of Damascus, and Mor Timotheos Matthew, Patriarchal Secretary for Indian Affairs, were also present as well as the monks and priests of the Archdiocese.
