His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II celebrated the Holy Qurobo at Virgin Mary Church in Qamishly. He was assisted by their Eminences Mor Maurice Amsih, Archbishop of Jazeerah and Euphrates, Mor Justinus Boulos Safar, Patriarchal Vicar in Zahleh and Beqaa, and Mor Timotheos Matthew, Patriarchal Secretary for Indian Affairs. In his sermon, His Holiness congratulated His Eminence Mor Maurice Amsih, the newly installed Archbishop of Jazeerah and Euphrates, wishing him a blessed and fruitful ministry in cooperation with the faithful of the Archdiocese for the glory of our Lord and the good of the Church. In his turn, His Eminence Mor Maurice Amsih thanked the Lord Jesus for the grace of serving the blessed faithful of the Archdiocese.
