During SYGG 2017, a special meditation and confession night was organized for the youth participating in the gathering. It included hymns, meditations, and prayers.
Very Rev. Raban Andrew Bahhi, Parish Priest of the Virgin Mary Church in Paramus, New Jersey, gave a meditation on repentance and the importance of confession in the life of every Christian.
The prayers were followed by a time for confession.
Their Eminences Mor Philoxenus Mattias Nayis, Patriarchal Vicar of Germany, Mor Clemis Daniel Kourieh, Metropolitan of Beirut, and Mor Nicodemus Daoud Sharaf, Archbishop of Mosul, Kirkuk and Kurdistan were present.
