His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II received Rev. Fr. Michel Jalkh, General Secretary of the Middle East Council of Churches and President of the Antonine University, at the Patriarchal Residence in Atchaneh, Lebanon.
The meeting was attended by their Eminences Mor Timotheos Matthew, Patriarchal  Secretary for Indian Affairs, Mor Maurice Amsih, Archbishop of Al-Jazeerah and Euphrates, and Very Rev. Raban Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director.
His Holiness congratulated Fr. Jalkh for his election to the Presidency of the Antonine University.
During the meeting, His Holiness discussed with Rev, Fr. Jalkh the ongoing preparations for the upcoming meeting of the Executive Committee of MECC, which will be hosted by our Patriarchate at Mor Aphrem Monastery in Maarat Saydnaya next October.
