His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II celebrated the Holy Qurobo at St. Joseph Church in Memmingen, Germany.Their Eminences Mor Philoxenus Mattias Nayis, Patriarchal Vicar in Germany, Mor Philoxenus Saliba Ozmen, Archbishop of Mardin and Diyarbakir, Mor Theophilus Kuriakose, Patriarchal Vicar in Europe, and Mor Julius Hanna Aydin, Director of External Relations in Germany, assisted His Holiness in the Holy Qurobo.
In his sermon, His Holiness spoke about the annunciation of the birth of St. John the Baptist to Zachariah and how the faithful trust the Lord and His promises without putting conditions on Him. He explained also how the Lord takes care of the little flock and told the faithful to continue to preserve the faith of the forefathers and to the traditions of our Church.
Following the Holy Qurobo, a reception was organized in honor of His Holiness where the faithful received his blessings.
