His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II met with Mr. Volker Bouffier, Minister President of the State of Hessen, and Mr. Udo Schoffmann, Mayor of Pohlheim.The meeting was attended by their Eminences: Mor Philoxenus Mattias Nayis, Patriarchal Vicar in Germany, and Mor Dionysius Issa Gurbuz, Patriarchal Vicar in Switzerland and Austria, as well as Very Rev. Raban Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director.
During the meeting, His Holiness discussed with his guests the situation in Syria. They also spoke about the presence of our Church in Germany.
