On October 1st 2018, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II presided over a meeting in Uppsala with representatives from the Syriac Orthodox Archdiocese of Sweden and Scandinavia and Patriarchal Vicarate in Sweden.During the meeting, His Holiness discussed with the representatives different issues of interest for our Syriac people in Sweden. They also spoke about the role of our Churches in Sweden, that of Sankt Ignatius Theological Seminary, of the priests, and lay people. Moreover, they spoke about the integration of our Syriac people in the Swedish society.
