On March 5, 2019, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II received His Beatitude John X, Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, at the Patriarchate Headquarters in Bab Touma, Damascus.
His Eminence Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Patriarchal Vicar in the Patriarchal Archdiocese of Damascus, and Very Rev. Fr. Youhanna Saroukhan, attended the meeting.
His Holiness and His Beatitude discussed the general situations in Syria and the Middle East, as well as common Church matters.
