His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II celebrated the Holy Qurobo on the occasion of the Feast of the Pentecost, at St. Peter Cathedral in La Plata – Argentina.
His Holiness was assisted by their Eminences: Mor Chrysostomos Youhanna Ghassaly, Patriarchal Vicar in Argentina, Mor Chrysostomos Mikhael Shemoun, Patriarchal Vicar and Director of the Patriarchal Benevolent Institutions in Atchaneh, and Mor Titus Boulos Touza, Apostolic Nuncio to the Syriac Missions in Brazil.
In his sermon, His Holiness spoke about the Feast of the Pentecost, which is the dwelling of the Holy Spirit in the disciples who were gathered in Jerusalem.
His Holiness added that the Holy Spirit gave courage to the disciples to witness to Christ and to carry the good news of the Gospel to the whole world.
