On October 14, 2019, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II received His Eminence Mor Ostatheus Isaak, Metropolitan of Mylapur and Bangalore and Patriarchal Vicar of the Syrian Orthodox Jacobite Church in UAE, accompanied by a delegation from the St. Ignatius Cathedral in Dubai – UAE, at the Patriarchal Residence in Atchaneh – Lebanon.
His Holiness welcomed His Eminence and the accompanying delegation. He listened to their report on the development of the ministry in the different Emirates in Dubai. His Holiness blessed the efforts of the different committees and wished them progress in their activities.
The members of the delegation also discussed with His Holiness the various plans and projects they have for the community in Dubai.
Very Rev. Fr. Markose Abraham, Patriarchal Secretary for the Affairs of the Church in India, also attended the meeting.
