On February 25, 2020, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II visited His Excellency Mr. Hussein Diab, Governor of Aleppo at the Governorate Headquarters in Aleppo.
His Holiness congratulated His Excellency on the victory of Aleppo over terrorism and hoped that it will recover soon its role as the center of industry and trade in Syria.
He was accompanied by His Eminence Archbishop Mor Boutros Kassis, Patriarchal Assistant and Patriarchal Delegate in Aleppo, the reverend priests of the Archdiocese as well as Mr. Ghassan Shami, and Mr. Nabeel Kahla.
