Markose Abraham, Patriarchal Secretary for Indian Affairs, visited the Embassy of India in Damascus to offer condolences in the name of His Holiness and the Syriac Orthodox Church for the demise of the late Former President of India His Excellency Pranab Mukherjee, whom His Holiness met during his first apostolic visit to India in 2015.
