On February 15, 2021, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II received His Beatitude Patriarch John X, Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, at the Patriarchate Headquarters in Damascus.

His Eminence Mor Maurice Amsih, Archbishop of Jazeerah and Euphrates, and Very Rev. Raban Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director were also present in the meeting.

During the meeting, His Holiness and His Beatitude discussed church matters as well as the current situation in Syria and the region and ways of supporting the needy during these difficult and challenging times.
