On June 22, 2021, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II celebrated the Holy Qurobo for the occasion of the Holy Synod of our Syriac Orthodox Church, at Mor Severus Church in the Patriarchal Residence in Atchaneh – Lebanon, in the presence of their Eminences Archbishops members of the Holy Synod.

Their Eminences: Mor Justinos Boulos Safar, Patriarchal Vicar in Zahleh and Bekaa, and Mor Anthimos Jack Yakoub, Patriarchal Vicar for Youth Affairs and Christian Education, assisted His Holiness.

The Fathers of the Holy Synod prayed for the guidance of the Holy Spirit. They also remembered the Archbishops who passed away since the last Synod, and prayed for the safe return of the two abducted Archbishops of Aleppo.
