Inauguration of “Antioch Museum”

On June 24, 2021, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II inaugurated “The Antioch Museum” in the Patriarchal Residence in Atchaneh, Lebanon.
There Eminences fathers of the Holy Synod of our Church attended the inauguration.
His Holiness said that the museum helps preserve the heritage of our Syriac Church.
The museum includes a collection of altar utensils and liturgical vestments of several great patriarchs and bishops of our Church. It also displays a replica of the historical Dead Sea Scrolls. A number of decorations, historical letters between the patriarchs and world leaders, as well as a number of icons and important Church documents are also presented.
His Holiness and their Eminences made a tour in the museum.
Deacon Elie Zouki took care of the preparation and organization of the museum.
